ResponsibilitiesSCA Health has transformed itself into a leader in
ambulatory surgical centers, surgical hospitals, and hospital
system partnerships. With Service Excellence as one of our core
values, we are transforming the current Information Technology
department to better position SCA Health as the industry leader in
surgical care. Our IT team is focused on providing our partnerships
and management teams with timely, quality technology support that
is reliable and helpful. We are seeking a Sr. Data Systems Analyst
to join our team of highly skilled data professionals to
revolutionize the way technology is used within surgery centers
across the country. This position is primarily responsible for:
- Conducting analysis and becoming thoroughly familiar with all
internal and external data sources and business glossaries.
- Serving as a data systems SME for company initiatives.
- Participating in data solution planning, data analysis,
testing, and validation.
- Generating data specifications from requirements, leading data
mapping activities, and providing logical data transformation
instructions to the development team.
- Working with project teams to identify, research, resolve, and
mitigate data-related issues.
- Identifying gaps, recommending improvements, and generating
data-related documentation.
- Establishing and cultivating business, stakeholder, and vendor
relationships.
- Providing accurate estimates and delivering on commitments in
an efficient and effective manner.
- Providing support and guidance to the business concerning data
artifacts, solutions, and analysis.
- Having a passion to learn, grow, and teach others both
technically and professionally.Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, or other
technology related field.
- 10+ years of data analysis experience with a focus in data
integrations and transformations.
- 3+ years of experience integrating multiple large disparate
data systems (50+ objects; 500GB+) into a single canonical
model.
- 2+ years of experience using Microsoft SQL Server 2017+ tools
for data investigation and analysis.
- Proven understanding of medical systems, data constructs, and
accounting practices with a focus on ASCs and Specialty Practices.
