Overview Umpqua Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is now hiring an organized and compassionate Door Screener/Receptionist! The Receptionist is responsible to provide appropriate office support necessary to an effective, smooth running operation. This support may include basic secretarial duties, clerical duties, door screening, receptionist duties and primary office record keeping. Responsibilities Positively greet visitors and patients at facility entrances. Verbally communicate visitor restrictions. Ask visitors and patients health screening questions. Request visitor compliance for hand sanitizing and face mask requirements. Manage supplies at greeter stations and maintain an organized and clean work area. Communicate with departments on visitor exceptions. Deliver items to departments as needed. When needed, escalate issues to facility leadership. May be asked to escort visitors to their destination. Answer multiple line telephones. Greet the public, may assist with marketing. May assist with typing, filing, ancillary input, payroll, distribution of mail, accounts payable, personnel files. Attend and participate in orientation, training and educational activities and staff meeting. Participate in Quality Improvement activities as assigned. Qualifications Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents, families and to work cooperatively with other employees. Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions in English. Basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company software. Must pass criminal background investigation and reference inquiry.
