Job Description:
Coordinator Communications

Provides support to the Director of Marketing/Communications in regards to all internal and external communication at Bay Area Hospital.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location
• Exercises good judgement, demonstrates effective critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills using appropriate levels of the English language to effectively communicate with target audiences
• Knowledge of print, radio, and television media, and demonstrated success in media relations
• Understanding of website content platforms, WordPress preferred
• Ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines
  
  EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/DEGREES
  
  • Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, marketing, community relations, or related field preferred
    
    EXPERIENCE
    
    • Experience assisting with communication and marketing programs for various external and internal target audiences
    • Experience with graphic design, brand standards, and design software, Adobe Creative Suite preferred
    • Minimum two years' experience in a related field
    • Extensive writing experience preferred
