Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. A school district in Cottage Grove, OR, is seeking skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support students from Kindergarten through 12th grade across various educational settings. This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication abilities within an elementary school environment as well as throughout the K-12 spectrum. Responsibilities: - Provide speech and language evaluations, individual and group therapy sessions to students exhibiting communication disorders. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs. - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to ensure coordinated support for student progress. - Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports. - Participate in meetings regarding student IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) and contribute professional expertise. Desired Experience and Qualifications: - Valid state certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. - Experience working with children in elementary school settings, specifically grades K-5, preferred. - Demonstrated ability to assess and treat a variety of speech and language disorders. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and colleagues. - Flexibility to provide services across K-12 grades and potentially during Extended School Year (ESY) programs.
