Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. This opportunity is for a full-time Special Education
Teacher position within a K-12 school setting in Oregon City, OR.
The contract spans the current school year with a start date ASAP
and concludes on June 5, 2026. The role is onsite only, requiring a
commitment of 37.5 hours per week. There are six openings available
across multiple special education settings: Elementary
Developmental (serving 15 students with behavioral, ASD, and
communication needs; supported by 6 assistants) Elementary Behavior
(Grades 3-5; 16 students with 5 assistants) Middle School Resource
(40 students; 2 shared assistants) Elementary Resource (two sites
about 2 miles apart; 35 students with one assistant in each
building) Middle School Behavior (15 students with 5 assistants)
Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction tailored to
students with varied disabilities and learning needs. Implement
behavior management and communication interventions. Collaborate
with assistant staff to ensure quality support and progress
tracking. Utilize Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to guide
teaching strategies. Maintain documentation and communication with
parents, supervisors, and multidisciplinary teams. Qualifications:
Active Special Education (SPED) certification or license for the
state of Oregon. Ability to manage diverse classroom environments
and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Experience working with
students diagnosed with behavioral challenges, Autism Spectrum
Disorder (ASD), and developmental disabilities preferred. Strong
organizational and communication skills. Contact information for
