We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in a dynamic school setting. The ideal candidate will support the implementation of speech therapy plans, work closely under the supervision of Speech Language Pathologists, and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional educational services. This role requires a commitment to fostering a supportive and effective learning environment that enables students to achieve their full potential. Assist Speech Language Pathologists in developing and implementing therapy plans. Document student progress and participate in parent/teacher meetings to discuss updates. Support students in using communication devices and other speech-augmentation equipment. Prepare materials and set up equipment necessary for therapy sessions. Follow and enforce safety procedures and the confidentiality requirements as mandated. Knowledge of speech therapy principles and practices Ability to use and maintain speech therapy equipment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in documentation and record keeping Capability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k State license as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (where required) Compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines regarding speech therapy services
