From these offices,Why join us?POSITION TYPE/HOURS OF WORKThis is a full-time position in office.Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A 9/80 schedule option is also available.Full benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, holiday pay, PTO, annual reviews, year-end bonus, and a profit-sharing program.Job DetailsResponsibilities:Develop structural designs and details for steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structuresPerform field investigation of existing conditionsPerform structural calculations for permitting and client reviewEdit specificationsCoordinate with other engineering disciplinesPrepare design documents for draftingComplete drafting of design documents as requiredComplete structural condition assessment reportsExperience and SkillsPrevious A&E firm experience, with work in structural design strongly preferredSignificant experience in structural engineering3+ years of relevant work experienceStrong understanding of the basic principles of the structural disciplineFamiliarity with the International Building Code structural provisions and referenced structural standards (ASCE 7, AISC 360, ACI 318, etc.)Excellent computer skills and familiarity with MS Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and structural modeling softwareProficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit to generate construction drawings is a plusAbility to generate engineering sketches and supervise drawing generationEffective communication and impromptu problem-solving skillsAbility to follow through in a self-motivated fashionAbility to learn quickly and self-teach challenging topicsAbility to work in a cost-effective, customer-focused, team-based environmentUnderstanding and skills in assessing a customer's requirements/needs in the fieldInterested in hearing more?
