possibilities for our clients.Position SummaryThe 24-hour program
director is responsible for leading and managing program
development, quality assurance, and care to ensure each individual
under their care receives the necessary supports to achieve their
goals. This role fosters a team atmosphere through mentorship and
coaching of 24-hour program managers and direct support
professionals. The 24-hour program director is also involved in the
development, implementation, and execution of the organization's
overall strategic goals and plans in concert with other members of
the senior leadership team, including the executive
director.Essential Functions* Partners with 24-hour program
managers and county case managers to ensure the people we support
have the highest quality experiences of Alvord-Taylor's and the
communities' services* Oversees and accepts responsibility for all
activities within 24-Hour programs, including licensure, human
services, personnel, finance, contracts, and the use of agency
resources including, but not limited to, personnel, vehicles,
water, and electricity.* Assists with problem solving, completion
of ISPs, and communication with outside agencies or
families/guardians, as needed.* Ensures policies, procedures, and
necessary forms are updated, implemented, and comply with additions
or modifications to Oregon Administrative Rules as required.*
Ensures Quality Assurance so that programs meet all state licensing
requirements and are operated at the highest level of care possible
by supporting sites and managers with resolving QA reviews and
licensing Plans of Improvement.* Ensures actions required as a
result of Protective Service Investigations are completed on a
timely basis and communicated to Lane County Developmental
Disability Services.* Develops and implements strategies that will
maximize collaboration between 24-Hour programs and teams.*
Partners with peers (finance and human resources, business
development) toward strategic and operational goals.* Fosters
positive working relationships between the Union and management.
Contributes to union negotiations and relations.* Represents
24-hour programs in internal and external associations, including
board of directors.* Supervises and mentors 24-hour program
managers, as well as overseeing training and orientation of program
managers and lead support professionals* Instill a sense of
accountability among team members by modeling tight oversight of
individual and organization performance standards* Participates in
Administrative Back Up On-Call.* Provides temporary site management
and on-call duties when the program management team is
understaffed.* Other duties as assigned by the executive
director.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are

successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close
vision.Qualifications* Two (2) or more years of experience in
management role in a residential or vocational setting serving
people with disabilities, preferably those with developmental
disabilities in the state of Oregon* Bachelor's degree in Social
Work, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field, OR
equivalent combination of education and experience totaling more
than five (5) years.* Knowledgeable of Oregon Administrative Rules,
updates, and licensing.* Must obtain and maintain, with agency
assistance, certification in First Aid and CPR, Mandatory Abuse
Reporting, Blood-borne Pathogens, and Oregon Intervention Systems
(OIS) (Note: all training is paid and provided by Alvord-Taylor)*
Demonstrable experience and abilities in:* Program/Site management*
Providing and evaluating effective programs for people with
disabilities* Staff oversight, including supervision, training and
development, motivation, modeling teamwork, and delegating with
trust.* Writing, reviewing, and implementing ISPs.* Reviewing and
critiquing Behavioral Support Plans and Nursing Care Plans.*
Developing and implementing documentation systems in compliance
with OARs* Oral and written communication* Must have a valid Oregon
driver's license and be insurable by the agency's liability
insurance carrier.Alvord-Taylor provides equal employment
