About the team Zillow's Acquisition and Activation product team
builds products that help users discover Zillow, understand how our
experience and services can help them in their home shopping
journey, and ensure that establishing and maintaining a
relationship with Zillow is simple and delightful. About the role
We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead our
Authentication strategy and platform for Zillow Group. You'll work
closely with Product and Engineering leaders and teams across
Zillow Group to create and drive a strategic plan for
Authentication that encompasses Customer Experience, Platform
capabilities, Industry best practices, and company goals. You will
utilize both qualitative and quantitative research to rapidly test,
measure, and iterate on the platform and customer experience to
ensure Authentication across Zillow Group is scaled, secure, and
delightful. Successful candidates will operate at both the
strategic and tactical levels, have a love for scientific methods,
and form strong cross-team partnerships that ensure combined
success. In this role, you will: Define a strategy and roadmap for
Authentication as a platform and product experience across Zillow
Group (ZG) informed by company objectives, customer needs, and
industry best practices. Partner with technical and product leaders
across ZG properties to align strategy and platform investments. Be
the go-to voice for Authentication and an evangelist for Identity
across ZG. Use internal and external data to guide experimentation,
decisions, opportunities and evaluation of success. Partner with
data science and analytics teams to run quantitative experiments
and analysis to test hypotheses and iteratively develop product
capabilities. Communicate strategy, platform health, capabilities,
winning and losing experimentation, and insights to a wide
audience. This role has been categorized as a Remote position.
"Remote" employees do not have a permanent corporate office
workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their
choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live
in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain
cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a
specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as
part of their role. In Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada and New York
City the standard base pay range for this role is $157,900.00 -
$252,200.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to Colorado,
Connecticut, Nevada and New York City and may not be applicable to
other locations. Who you are 7+ years of end-to-end product
management experience A highly analytical and experimental person
who uses data to determine product strategy, roadmap, and
trade-offs in product development. Experience with high-scale
platforms, ideally in Identity or Authentication. Technical
interest and ability to evaluate the technological strengths and
weaknesses of product solutions. An effective leader and
communicator who can influence and inspire internal and external
partners across a wide range of disciplines. Strong instincts for
collaboration - this is a highly cross-functional role, and working
effectively across organization boundaries and understanding how to
get things done is critical You have keen strategic vision, the
leadership to deliver it, and the strong ability to influence
without direct authority Strong written and oral communication and
team leadership skills, the ability to simplify complex topics, and
comfort presenting at all levels of the organization Familiarity
with agile methodologies Bachelor's degree in business, marketing,
