We are looking for a product manager to lead our investments in this space, partnering with a multidisciplinary team of product managers, engineers and scientists, and cross-company collaborators. About the role Lead the vision and product strategy from ideation through to launch Foster strong connections across ZG's AI, Product, and Business teams to better align your team's vision & roadmap.Be responsible for the roadmap, execution, and success metrics of a growing portfolio of home valuation offerings like Zestimate, Rent Zestimate etc. Partner and collaborate with Engineering and Science teams to deliver innovative ML powered products to millions of consumers. Translate user stories into concrete requirements and plans, and lead the execution with our engineering and applied science teams Stay ahead of industry trends in technology and business trends to help make pioneering approaches available to all of Zillow Group Clearly communicate vision, plans, and results to partner teams, executives, and other decision makers Nurture a culture of innovation, where teams are constantly encouraged to think creatively and challenge established assumptions and expectations This role has been categorized as a Remote position. "Remote" employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role. In Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada and New York City the standard base pay range for this role is $157,900.00 - $252,200.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada and New York City and may not be applicable to other locations. Who you are You have proven experience (7+ years) in a product management role with emphasis on creative problem-solving skills, analytical thinking and passion for new technologies You have experience defining product vision and strategy, using a metrics driven product development approach, crafting product specifications, user scenarios, and preliminary product concepts. Experience partnering with engineering and science teams to build sophisticated AI and software systems. You are comfortable pushing back and asking tough questions. A highly collaborative working style and an analytical approach, with experience using data to motivate changes and produce results Passion for customer success and empowering people through technology Familiarity with Machine Learning technologies and their application to business problems Strong sense of ownership, with the ability to think big and move fast Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Able to keep customer and partner teams advised and up-to-date; able to coordinate and prioritize multiple parallel projects Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred) and MBA preferred Experience with real estate data and/or home valuation is a plus In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.
