This team leads framework development for Zillow's property data views and implements most of the property data modules. About the role This development manager oversees the end-to-end software feature lifecycle and contributes code alongside the team's developers. You'll ship updates weekly and keep a laser focus on using the unique capabilities of mobile devices. This role has been categorized as a Remote position. "Remote" employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role. In Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada and New York City the standard base pay range for this role is $181,000.00 - $289,100.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada and New York City and may not be applicable to other locations. Who you are You're passionate about great user facing applications and you're interested in the mobile space. You're completely new to mobile application development and eager to try something different -- most of our group came from a non-mobile background! Responsibilities for this role include: Managing a team of 5-8 software developers Collaborating with product managers and test leads Growing the team through mentorship and hiring Making code, architecture, and process changes across iOS and Android codebases Qualifications: You have at least 5 years of software development experience as an individual contributor or team lead You have 2 years of people management experience or equivalent experience as a non-managing software team lead You care deeply about a great end-user experience In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.
