    • Generous employee discount and well-being programs PURPOSE OF POSITION: Acting independently with limited supervision, the Senior Tech Project Manager is responsible for the management of multiple projects within the IT department or phases of a larger and more complex projects and programs. Manages project activities, schedules, and teams and provides training on basic project management practices. Project management includes project team leadership, development of project requirements; development of cost/benefit analysis and definition of schedule. Monitors project budgets; identifies key milestones and dependencies, develops project plans and schedules; and develops project phasing. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
    • Manage and implement projects within the IT department or phases of a larger project or program, ensuring customer needs are met and agreed upon scope is delivered within committed timeframes and budget.
    • Prepare and communicate project delivery status and progress.
    • Build effective trust relationships within the organization.
    • Manage stakeholder expectations.
    • Implement strategies to avoid, transfer or mitigate risk.
    • Escalate project issues quickly and appropriately.
    • Manage budget impacts related to directional and scope changes to the project.
    • Find solutions to project problems while balancing quality, speed, and costs.
    • Understand and apply protocols, procedures, processes, and techniques to prevent unauthorized access to and protection of systems and data.
    • Evaluate quality processes and seek opportunities to streamline project delivery.
    • Maintain a knowledgebase and familiarity of leading-edge technologies related to cost effective solutions of healthcare problems.
    • Meet with vendors to review and select products and/or services and assist in negotiating contracts.
    • Assists in the development of companys long-range planning and budgeting goals. Experience and Skills: PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Strong project management skills, good communication skills, good organizational and planning skills, change management skills, must demonstrate a high level of motivation, team orientation, professionalism, trust; and place a high value on treating others with dignity and respect. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within and across functional groups as required, while utilizing other resources with good judgment. Ability to demonstrate high initiative and ownership of issues and assignments. EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business or closely related field preferred. Certificate in Project Management required or equivalent professional experience. Project Manager Professional (PMP) preferred. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of ten years of experience working for IT organizations with at least five years of project management experience supporting and implementing information systems in a healthcare organization. Experience managing projects within Tier-1 enterprise EMR systems (Epic preferred) and clinical application ecosystem. Experience creating, managing, and producing project reports using enterprise project management tools such as Microsoft Project, SmartSheets, or Insight. REQUIREMENTS: Must have dependable transportation, as local travel may be required. Some evening, early morning, and weekend work may be required. Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. Oregon Medical Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination prior to employment to ensure compliance. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires prolonged sitting, frequent standing, bending, stooping and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Requires normal range of hearing and manual dexterity sufficient to operate keyboard, telephone, photocopier, calculator and other office equipment as needed. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Regular office environment with occasional evening work. Position involves frequent contact with physicians, other providers, staff, clinic leadership and the public within diverse settings. Work is often challenging with multiple and frequent demands.
