Project Manager, Training team (Contract)

small things (formatting, typos) just don't look right? Do you
proactively recognize when there is an opportunity and quickly
define ideas or solutions? Do you have a backup plan for all the
things that could possibly go wrong? If you answered yes to any or,
all these questions, this may be the job for you!
MC3 is actively seeking a Project Manager to join our Training team
for a contract opportunity, reporting to the Senior Director of
Training. This is a 6-month opportunity with the potential to
extend beyond that term.
With a diverse array of projects spanning from pre- to post-launch
pharmaceutical training, our work includes product-focused,
skills-based, and clinical/scientific training. Training that meets
the needs of multiple audiences, disease states, and organizations.
Some examples of projects may be:
- Design and development of new drug launch curricula for sales
representatives
- Live or virtual workshop design, development, and live or
virtual support for new product launches, national sales meetings,
and plan-of-action meetings
- Gamification and interactive micro-learning activities to
reinforce the transfer of knowledge
- Design and development of eLearning modules and other home
study materials
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Project Management:
- Manages and executes day-to-day operational and administrative
aspects of projects
- Assigns project tasks to internal project team members
- Determines timelines and creates project plans using Microsoft
Project
- Supports in the development of project budgets
- Tracks the status of project deliverables to ensure that
project timelines are met
- Reviews deliverables to ensure the quality of work, and
alignment to client needs and goals, prior to submission to the
client
- Prepares contact reports to summarize discussions and action
items in meetings (internal & client meetings)
- Manages internal resources, freelancers, and contractors;
provides fee schedules for contractors based on scope and timelines
of deliverables
- Conducts quality assurance (QA) review of deliverables
(spelling, grammar, punctuation, consistency)
- Responsible for the submission of project deliverables for
client's Medical, Legal, and Regulatory copy review via client
submission platforms (Veeva Vault, Zinc). Works closely with
clients on adhering to submission standards.
- Performs reporting, as needed; compiles data, conducts analysis
& generates reports
Client Relationship Management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Interacts directly with clients on a regular basis (live and
virtual); manages client expectations
- Provides on-site project support at live/virtual meetings, as
needed.
- Overnight travel associated with live, in-person meetings could
necessitate a one to five-night stay onsite depending on the type
of meeting or training event
Strategic Thinking & Solution Orientation
- Collaborates with internal team members to assess client
training needs and determine appropriate solutions
- Synthesizes client interactions into an actionable direction,
and or solutions
- Proactively recognizes project risks and collaborates with
internal team members to develop plans to mitigate risks before
they become issues
- Seeks out additional opportunities to expand experience and
cultivate expertise
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in
the Life Sciences or Healthcare industry
- Expertise with Microsoft PowerPoint and Project
- Experience managing digital interactive training and/or
marketing programs
- Project management experience in pharmaceutical sales training
is a plus
- Exceptional teamwork, interpersonal, communication, and
organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment by managing
multiple projects concurrently, meeting deadlines, and adjusting
priorities appropriately
- High level of motivation; ability to deal with pressure and
different personalities
- Ability to work independently to successfully deliver
projects/tasks
- Some travel, including overnights, may be necessary (up to
20%)
