Job Description:

Kavaliro has partnered with an organization who is seeking and IT Director for a remote opportunity.

Qualifications:10+ years of overall technology experience.
Knowledge of and working experience in an environment compliant with SOC-2 security and privacy principles, experience working in PCI compliant environments is a big plus.
Ability to read and understand modern software development languages (we currently use Python, Django, Node, Typescript, React). Strong knowledge of Transactional and NoSQL database technologies.
Hands-on software development experience.
Significant experience working with asynchronous processes and unattended complex data processing jobs.
Experience managing domains, physical and virtual servers, end-user computing environments.
Understanding of network and systems security, experience managing firewalls, load balancers, SIEM, IDS, FIM systems.
Experience configuring and managing Task/Project management and ITSM systems, and Automated Alerting and Escalation tools and services.
A desire to be challenged by a constantly growing and changing environment.
Prior experience in the payments space.
Working knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS, understanding of its relevant tools and products.
Education in fields such as Computer, Software or Network Engineering.


Responsibilities:
Create processes and standards for selection and implementation of infrastructure systems
Consult with senior level stakeholders across the organization to identify business and technology needs and to optimize the use of shared technology
Ensure smooth delivery of IT services and monitoring system performance
Leading IT infrastructure and security administration and DevOps including maintaining the integrity and security of technology operations to ensure that access to systems and data is allowed only to authorized users.
Experience managing domains, physical and virtual servers, end-user computing environments.
Building strong relationships with DevOps, Customer Service and Engineering Teams to deliver timely resolutions to difficult customer issues and escalations.
