Job Description:
A company is looking for a Director of Federal Policy to lead
its advocacy efforts in health care policy at the federal
level.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the federal policy vision, strategy, and portfolio of issues
for advocacy work
Develop and implement the organization's federal policy record and
assess opportunities for influencing legislation
Build and maintain strategic partnerships and coalitions with key
allies and stakeholders
Required Qualifications
At least 10 years of professional experience in health care policy
at the federal level
Deep knowledge of federal, state, and private health insurance
programs, including Medicare and Medicaid
Strong political sensibilities combined with analytic and policy
skills
Experience engaging constructively with diverse stakeholders and
building professional relationships
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
effectively
