Add File Seeking BC General Cardiologist for Excellent VA Staff Opportunity in Beautiful Eugene - Central Oregon Position Information The Eugene VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic, Eugene, OR is actively recruiting to fill Board Certified Staff General Cardiologist (BE considered) to help care for our Veterans - American's Heroes. The Eugene VA Clinic is located in Eugene Oregon is an urgent care center and medical clinic providing services in medicine, surgery and mental health for the veterans who reside in Lane County. This rewarding opportunity awaits you in our state-of-the-art VA facility! The Eugene VA Clinic has been improving the health of the men and women who have so proudly served our nation. Candidates should have clinical expertise in non-invasive Cardiology fields, including conducting, and interpreting certain Cardiology procedures such as stress tests, trans-thoracic or trans-esophageal echocardiograms, or electrocardiograms. You will diagnose, treat, and manage patients with cardiac diseases according to standard, usual, and acceptable methods and techniques. You will provide services such as examinations, consultation services related to cardiology, management of patients with current treatment regiment, and admission status as necessary. Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday (No call or weekends)

• Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in the U.S.
• Board Certification in General Cardiology preferred, but Board Eligibility may also be considered Community Information Eugene, Oregon enjoys a reputation as one of the most livable cities in the United States. Biking is hugely popular in Eugene, and the city has 28 miles of off-street paths, 78 miles of on-street bicycle lanes, and 4 bicycle bridges that cross the Willamette River. Hiking can be enjoyed at places like Kentucky Falls, which is 45 miles west of the city and features three waterfalls. Winter recreation includes Willamette Pass Ski Are, and Hoodoo Ski Area.
