visit our website!About the JobWe have an opening for a Residential
Crisis Therapist who possesses a combination of skills and QMHP
credentials to provide clinical services for The Guest House Crisis
Stabilization Center in Eugene, Oregon. This position will perform
crisis assessments, as well as individual and group therapy
sessions, for individuals experiencing crisis and who are in need
of short-term support and stabilization. This position requires to
ability to assist with training and clinical oversight of
Residential Associates who provide 24-hour residential support
services to residents. The QMHP will report to the Clinical Manager
for clinical standards and quality improvement. Successful
clinicians will have a strong working knowledge of the DSM-5 and
the ability to direct and offer appropriate clinical treatment.
Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal
communication skills are needed. Knowledge of community resources
in order to assist clients with transition plans and case
coordination is preferred. In addition, you will receive crisis
de-escalation training, which requires performing various physical,
hands-on maneuvers and techniques.Work Schedule: Monday through
Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pmWhat You'll MakeFrom $4,600 to $6,500 per
month DOE/Credentials.About the ProgramThe Guest House Crisis
Stabilization center (est. 2020) is a 10-bed, licensed Crisis
Residential Treatment Facility that offers expert services and
support for individuals who are experiencing a mental health
crisis. The program offers a healing, therapeutic environment
staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by a team of caring
professionals. Specific services include short-term crisis
intervention and stabilization, medication management, daily
nursing support, motivational interviewing, solution-focused
cognitive behavioral therapy, and Peer support. Staff will work
closely with the client's existing treatment team for coordinated
care.What You'll NeedState of Oregon QMHP credentials:
- Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or
related field
- MUST meet OAR requirement for QMHP by having completed TWO (2)
YEARS of post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health
treatment setting
Successful applicants MUST also have a valid Oregon driver's
license, maintain a safe driving record, and have the ability to
