We are expanding our Palliative Services and currently looking for a Palliative Medical Assistant to join our Eugene team!As the Palliative Medical Assistant, you will partner with our Regional VP of Community Development and our clinical teams to further that mission. These passionate teams will depend on you to establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and referral sources within the community.Location: Eugene OfficeSchedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pmWhy choose Bristol?

  • Must have the successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program
  • A Certified Medical Assistant through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) preferred
  • Must have a completion of venipuncture class
  • Must have a current BCLS certification
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have basic computer knowledge
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing; additional languages preferredOn An Average day, you will:
    • Provide patient ambulatory care in the medical office/clinic setting
    • Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care
    • Meets the communication needs of the patient and family
    • Provide care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or Physician.
    • Maintains regulatory requirements, nursing and practice policies, procedures, and standards
    • Communicate with physicians and team members about the patient's clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomology
