About the Job We have an exciting opening for a Residential Associate position in Eugene, Oregon. Residential Associates work as members of a direct care team serving adults with serious mental illness. Primary responsibilities include supporting the development of life skills and therapeutic interventions, performing housekeeping, preparing meals, administering medication, and keeping accurate clinical documentation. If you have experience working as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), Residential Assistant (RA), Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA), Residential Counselor, Skills Trainer, or Caregiving for a client experiencing severe mental illness, then a Residential Associate position may be a great fit for you! Work Schedule: Full Time (40 hours per week), 10-hour Night shifts What You'll Make$20.00 - $22.00 per hour starting wage, DOE/Credentials. An additional $2.50 per hour night shift differential will apply during the work hours of 10:00pm - 6:00am. About the Program River Bridge (at the Heeran Center) is a 16-bed, Secure Residential Treatment Facility (SRTF) located in Eugene, Oregon. Clients who are affected by severe and persistent mental illness receive quality treatment, stabilization and work towards recovery. The River Bridge program serves 8 adults under the jurisdiction of the Psychiatric Security Review Board (PSRB), and another 8 adults that are under civil commitment.ColumbiaCare Services is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program. QMHA employees are also eligible to apply for the Oregon Behavioral Health Loan Repayment Program. What You'll NeedYou must be registered as a QMHA through MHACBO or become registered within 30 days of hire. Eligibility for QMHA registration requires 1 out of 3 Criteria below: Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science: Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Human Development, or related field; OR minimum three (3) years of verifiable behavioral health experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs in a supervised setting; OR equivalent combination of behavioral science education in addition to satisfactory supplemental behavioral health experience and trainingSuccessful applicants MUST have a valid Oregon driver's license, maintain a safe driving record, and have the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check About UsColumbiaCare Services is a non-profit, behavioral health and Veteran's service agency offering a full spectrum of programming to help people get better.
