Locums - Roseburg, Oregon, Gastroenterology Job

• Clinical Role:

  • ASAP - Ongoing
  • Clinic (1-2 days per week): 8:00am - 4:30 pm
  • Optional 24 hour call 7am-7am
  • Setting: Rural general GI practice. Only GI practice within 70 miles
  • Duties: Full range of general gastroenterology services,
  • Required Procedures: Colonoscopy and Upper Endoscopy. No ERCP or EUS
  • EMR: Meditech with Patient Keeper in Hospital and Surgery Center with Epic in Outpatient Clinic
  • Support Staff: 3 receptionists, Surgery Scheduler, 4 medical assistants, Practice Manager
  • 0-2 consults per day while on call
  • 14-16 patients per day in office
  • 10-12 patients in Outpatient Surgery Department
  • Avg patient age 60-70 years old
  • Most common diagnoses: Dysphagia, GERD, Rectal Bleeding, Cirrhosis, Barrett's esophagus, Screening for malignancy
  • Board Certification - Board Certified
  • State License - Will accept those willing to apply for their Oregon Required - (please note we are not an IMLC State)
  • Residency Requirements/Fellowship - Required
  • Other Certifications - Require BLS or ACLS (will assist once accepted if needed)
