  • Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Both
  • Is there tele on this unit? Monitor Techs? RNs read strips?: Telemetry is available. RN's read strips in OB. Monitor techs upstairs if continuous monitoring required.
  • EFM System: GE Centricity
    • Job Requirements
    • ACLS, BLS, Stable; OR License Required
    • Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE
    • Are RNs required to titrate drips?: Yes
    • Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Pitocin, LR, Fentanyl, Labatelol
    • OB/Neonatologist in house 24/7?: No
    • RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc): 2 Vents, 2 Bubble CPAP
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts & Scheduling: Am/PM 12 hour shifts. Yearly core schedules in place.
      • Weekend Requirement: every other weekend or 1 weekend based on seniority
      • Holiday Requirement: Per ONA contract
      • Is there a call or standby requirement?: 2 12 hour shifts required per schedule

        • Are there nurse aids/surgical techs on this unit?: OB Techs
        • Unit/Department specific orientation: Completed on all new and incoming employees
