Job Description:
A company is looking for a Health Information Management
Specialist responsible for various entry-level technical functions
within the Health Information Management Department.
Key Responsibilities
Perform medical record analysis, track deficiencies, and ensure
chart completion
Process birth and death certificates, maintain Master Patient Index
integrity, and handle medical record processing tasks
Provide customer service support and maintain daily productivity
reports
Required Qualifications
Entry-level experience in health information management or related
field
Knowledge of medical record processing and analysis
Familiarity with birth and death certificate processing
Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with healthcare
regulations
Proficiency in using office equipment and software for record
keeping
