Job Title: Family Birthing Center RN Profession: RN Specialty: Family Birthing Center Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hour nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in Labor and Delivery and Post Partum License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS, NRP, Fetal Heart Monitoring Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years experience in Labor and Delivery and Post Partum - Current RN license - CPR/BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross - NRP certification - Experience working in a department with 200 or more births per month - Willingness to float to assist in other units as needed Description: This position is in a 24-bed department. RNs will care for patients during all phases of their stay from labor to mother/baby. Experience in circulating c-sections is required. The department operates in a busy and fast-paced environment. Candidates must be comfortable floating to different units to assist, including acute care settings. A locker will be provided for all caregivers. The facility will provide clean scrubs to RNs that will be changed into and out of while on-site. Candidates must have experience in a similar-sized Labor and Delivery department. Please indicate if you require time off during the contract. Fetal Heart Monitoring certification is required.
