Job Description:
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified Endoscopy RN in Roseburg, Oregon, 97471! Pay Information
$2,538 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: Gastroenterology/Endoscopy Duration:
13 weeks Shift: Evenings Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience:
Minimum of 2 years License: No specific license required to submit
Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Experience administering and
discharging surgery and endoscopy patients Description: OR License
is not required at the time of submission. Once the clinician
accepts the offer, an application for the Emergency License can be
submitted. The nurse will cover all three phases: Preoperative,
Intraoperative, and Postoperative. Experience in recovering
patients from general anesthesia is required. Experience with
bedside procedures is necessary. Familiarity with conscious
sedation is a must. Intraoperative duties include monitoring,
circulating, scrubbing, and administering sedation. Common cases
include EGD, colonoscopies, and bronchoscopies. Previous experience
in the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases is
essential. The unit will not have techs or nurse aides available.
Floats may be required in the preoperative and PACU areas. Scrub
color and dress code will be provided. Shifts will vary, primarily
scheduled from 10:00 to 18:30, Monday through Friday. There are no
mandatory call or standby requirements. The hospital can cancel up
to four shifts over the 13-week assignment. The charting system in
