Job Description We are seeking a Permanent Interventional Cardiologist in Oregon. Permanent Interventional Cardiologist Position Type: Permanent Specialty: Physician - Interventional Cardiology Location: Coos Bay, OR Rate: Open & Negotiable Shift: Days Shared STEMI Call Start Date: Open End Date: N/A Position Details: - Patient Population: Adult - Setting: Hospital, Inpatient, Outpatient - Responsibilities: - Rotate through hospital, lab, and clinic with NP/PA support - Full-scope interventional procedures including PCI and PVI - Shared STEMI call - Provide outreach services to nearby critical access hospitals - Interpretation of coronary angiograms, ventriculography, and hemodynamics - Required Procedures: - Intracoronary stents, balloon angioplasty, thrombectomy - IVUS, intracoronary Doppler, and flow/pressure wire - Peripheral vascular angiography, angioplasty, and stenting - Intra-aortic balloon pump catheter insertion - Special privileges available for pacemaker implantation, AICD, carotid stenting, and endovascular grafts - EMR System: Epic - Support Staff: Full team including NP/PA support - Days Per Month: Full-time position - On-Call/Weekends: Shared STEMI call Submission Requirements: - Board Certified in Cardiovascular Medicine - REQUIRED - Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology OR Certificate of Added Qualification in Interventional Cardiology by AOBIM - REQUIRED - Oregon License (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED - Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Interventional Cardiologist - REQUIRED - Practice Setting/Procedure Interests (note in submission) - REQUIRED - Ties to Oregon (family, prior residency) - REQUIRED Join us today!
