Job Description LanceSoft is seeking a local contract nurse RN Intermediate Care for a local contract nursing job in Coos Bay, Oregon. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Intermediate Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/12/2026 - Duration: 52 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract Permanent position: Intermediate Care Unit- Coos Bay, OR Hourly Pay Rate: $45.00 - $71.00/hour (This is a union position; rate will be decided on years of experience and non-negotiable) Relocation Available - Bay Area Hospital - Intermediate Care Unit - Shift Type: Varied - Shift Notes: Day Shift or Night Shift // 12hr/36hrs/week // 80-hours per two-week pay period - Weekend Requirements: Possible - On Call Requirements: Possible - EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/DEGREES - Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Oregon - American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support card or must be obtained by the last day of the month after the 6 month grace period EXPERIENCE - Recent (within past 5 years) acute care hospital experience preferred - Acute care hospital experience in past two years or intermediate/progressive care experience preferred - Minimum of three (3) years' experience - 2-3 years' experience in Critical Care - Certification Requirements - BLS - State License Requirements - Oregon SKILLS AND ABILITIES - Able to read, write legibly, and converse effectively in the English language. - Exhibits critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Flexible, able to prioritize and adapt to rapidly-changing patient and unit needs. - Demonstrates effective teaching skills. - Responds effectively to patient crisis/emergency situations - Proficient in use of computer, including accessing internet, word processing, and documenting in an electronic medical record system. - Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location Special Employee Benefits:/n/nHealth and Wellness Clinic with Nurse Practitioner available to provide care to employee and their family/nEmployee on-site gym/nEmployee engagement activities/nChild Care Benefits/nGenerous PTO/nTuition Assistance/nShort term and long term disability/nMedical, Dental, Vision and Prescription benefits/nLife insurance/n4% match to 401 plan./nEmployee Assistance Programs About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
