Hospital – Radiation Oncology (Radiation Therapy Unit)/n -
Assignment Type: Travel Radiation Therapist/n - Duration: 13
weeks/n - Start Date: ASAP (on or after January 26, 2026)/n -
Shift: Day shifts, 4x10-hour shifts per week (Monday–Friday,
7:00am–7:00pm)/n - Hours per Week: 40/n - No call required/n -
Estimated Weekly Salary: $2080–$2230/n /n/nQualifications –
Radiation Therapist Requirements/n /n - Minimum 1 year of recent
Radiation Therapy experience in a hospital or clinical setting/n -
Valid ARRT National Radiology License (Radiation Therapist)/n -
Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) State Licensure/n - Current
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification/n - Graduate of an
accredited Radiation Therapy program/n - Experience with Varian
TrueBeam or Edge, and Aria preferred/n - Familiarity with Linear
Accelerators (Varian TrueBeam, Trilogy, Acuity, GE Lightspeed CT
preferred)/n - Epic charting experience required/n - Ability to
work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment treating
70–95 patients per day on three treatment machines/n /n/nKey
Responsibilities – Radiation Therapist/n /n - Simulate and
administer radiation treatments as prescribed by the Radiation
Oncologist and directed by the Radiation Physicist and
Dosimetrist/n - Interpret prescriptions and treatment plans for
oncology patients/n - Perform patient identification and maintain
audio/visual surveillance during radiation therapy/n - Accurately
position patients for treatment and perform imaging as directed/n -
Monitor and report patient side effects, behavioral changes, or
unusual reactions/n - Document treatment positions and field
borders using digital photography/n - Safely transfer patients
using proper body mechanics and transfer techniques/n - Perform
simple RadCalc calculations for emergency treatments/n - Construct
quality immobilization devices and accurately tattoo patients as
appropriate/n - Participate in daily chart rounds and complete Aria
chart checks per department policy/n - Perform weekly block room
cleaning and HEPA filter checks/n - Fabricate custom blocks and
coordinate simulation with the clinic to support continuity of
