Registered Nurse (RN) | Radiology Location: Bend, OR Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,454 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Diagnostic Radiology Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience required License: Active state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, Moderate Sedation Must-Have: - Experience with administering moderate sedation - Familiarity with working in CT, Ultrasound, X-Ray, and MRI departments - Epic experience is required Description: This position is for a Diagnostic Radiology Registered Nurse. The applicant must be very comfortable with administering moderate sedation. The nurse will work closely with anesthesiologists. Responsibilities include floating to the Pre-Surgery Clinic when needed. Pre-procedural phone screenings will be conducted during these shifts. The schedule will be variable days from Monday to Friday. Weekends will be required approximately every 5 weeks. Additional certifications required include ACLS, BLS, PALS, and Moderate Sedation. Skills needed include 12 Lead EKG monitoring, End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, and Infection Prevention. The nurse must adhere to Isolation Precautions and Malignant Hyperthermia Protocols. Monitoring procedural sedation and ensuring safety around radiation and lasers is essential. Familiarity with MRI safety protocols is also required. The unit involves working with patients across various age groups including neonates, adolescents, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support is provided by teams including Physical Therapy and Respiratory Services. The nurse will not be required to run machines, as these tasks are performed by technicians.
