time off available to earned As a Home Health Registered Nurse,
here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do: Provide in house care
to patients on a periodic or ongoing basis, including in-home
infusions, injection training, and clinical trials Perform client
assessments for cases that require any skilled caregiving tasks.
Delegate skilled tasks to qualified caregivers and perform
supervisory visits for those clients/caregivers at least every 90
days. On call (based on availability) to answer clinical questions
that arise during caregiving shifts. Assist with caregiver
education as required. Examples are medication administration,
which is required for the caregiver to be able to perform that task
with a client. Occasionally offered opportunities for staffing
roles with facilities, which are optional for the nurse to accept A
few must-haves for Home Health Registered Nurses: Graduate of an
accredited nursing program and active RN license in Oregon Minimum
of 3 years of nursing experience, ideally in home healthcare CPR
certification Knowledge of state and federal home health
regulations Clinical proficiency in nursing specialty, strong
