Job Description:
Legacy Health is seeking a dedicated Imaging Support Specialist
to join our team, providing crucial support in our imaging
departments across multiple facilities. This role is pivotal in
facilitating the efficient operation of our radiology and imaging
services, ensuring the highest standards of care for our patients
in Oregon and Washington. As a non-profit health system, Legacy

health services, and we rely on our Imaging Support Specialists to
uphold these values by managing imaging technology and assisting
radiologists with the smooth execution of diagnostic procedures.
Manage and maintain imaging equipment and software. Assist
radiologists and other healthcare professionals during diagnostic
imaging procedures. Ensure all imaging procedures comply with
industry standards and safety regulations. Provide technical
support and training to staff on new imaging technology. Coordinate
scheduling of imaging services to optimize department workflow.
Maintain accurate records of imaging equipment performance and
maintenance. Collaborate with IT department to ensure network
security and data compliance related to imaging files. Proficiency
in operating and troubleshooting imaging equipment. Strong
understanding of radiology information systems (RIS) and picture
archiving and communication systems (PACS). Ability to provide
training and support to clinical staff. Excellent organizational
and communication skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Radiology Administrator
(CRA) preferred. Compliance with state and federal regulations on
radiologic health and safety.
