Job Description:
Join Legacy Health as a dedicated MRI Technologist within our
non-profit health system spanning Oregon and Washington. Our team
strives to provide exceptional medical imaging services in a
compassionate environment. As an MRI Technologist at Legacy Health,
you will operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to
create diagnostic images that assist in patient diagnostics and
treatment planning. You will work closely with radiologists,
physicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal
patient care, incorporating our system’s high standards and mission
to improve the health of our community. Operate and maintain MRI
equipment to ensure clear, accurate diagnostic images. Prepare
patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their
comfort and safety. Work in conjunction with radiologists to
interpret images, report noteworthy findings, and discuss further
imaging requirements. Adhere to protocols for magnetic field safety
to minimize risk to patients and staff. Maintain accurate patient
records and manage scheduling of procedures. Coordinate with other
healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to
patient care. Participate in training and professional development
activities. Proficiency in the operation of MRI equipment Strong
understanding of radiological safety and protocols Excellent
patient care and communication skills Ability to interpret and
analyze diagnostic images effectively Detail-oriented and capable
of maintaining accurate records Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
