Structural Heart / Interventional Cardiologist St. Charles
Health System – Bend, Oregon Join a Leading Cardiovascular Program
in Central Oregon St. Charles Health System is seeking a Structural
Heart / Interventional Cardiologist to join our comprehensive Heart
& Lung program in Bend, Oregon. This is a unique opportunity to
practice advanced interventional and structural cardiology within a
collaborative, high-performing team that includes non-invasive
cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and
structural heart specialists. About the Role This position offers a
balanced mix of procedural, inpatient, and outpatient care,
including advanced structural heart interventions and coronary
procedures. The physician will play a key leadership role in the
continued growth and quality of our Structural Heart Program.
Practice Highlights - 4-day work week with one dedicated day off
per week - Blend of clinic, cardiac cath lab, and diagnostic
interpretation - Dedicated cardiac cath lab days with 4–5 elective
cases scheduled - Participation in continuous STEMI call rotation -
Outreach clinic opportunities throughout Central Oregon -
Leadership opportunity through Structural Heart Medical
Directorship Procedural Scope - Transcatheter Aortic Valve
Replacement (TAVR) - Transcatheter Edge-to-Edge Repair (TEER) -
Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion (LAAO) - Paravalvular Leak (PVL)
closure - ASD/PFO closure - Diagnostic angiography and percutaneous
coronary intervention (PCI) What You’ll Do - Provide comprehensive
cardiovascular care in both inpatient and outpatient settings -
Perform advanced interventional and structural heart procedures -
Interpret cardiac diagnostic studies - Collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes - Participate
in program development, quality initiatives, and registry reporting
- Document care within Epic EMR Qualifications Required: - MD or DO
from an accredited medical school - Completion of Cardiology
residency and Interventional Cardiology fellowship - Fellowship
training in Structural Heart - Board certified or board eligible in
Interventional Cardiology - Oregon medical license (or ability to
obtain) - ACLS certification and unrestricted DEA Experience: - 2–3
years post-training in structural heart OR - 5–10 years of
independent interventional cardiology experience - Proven
experience in TAVR, TEER, LAAO, PVL closure, and ASD/PFO closure
