Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/28/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Days, 4x10hrs - Hours: 40 hrs/wk - Start Date: Apr 28, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Coos Bay, OR, requiring ACLS/BLS certifications and experience in prep and recovery. Details - Position is based in a cardiac catheterization lab within an acute care hospital setting - Performs specialized examinations including cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular studies, and/or electrophysiology studies - 10-hour day shifts, 6:30am–4:30pm - Weekend shifts required - Weekend on-call required - 13-week contract Requirements - Active OR RN license required (must be willing to obtain prior to start) - Current AHA certifications: BLS and ACLS - Acute care hospital experience within the past 5 years - Experience in a prep and recovery area - Current RN license (Standard or Compact) - Skills checklist specific to Cath Lab required for consideration Additional Information - Conducts patient assessments and applies the nursing process within the Oregon State Board of Nursing scope of practice - Collaborates with the interdisciplinary/intra-procedure team to coordinate and ensure safe patient care - Participates in Universal Protocol and site marking identification procedures - Assists with patient identification, preparation, draping, and room setup for routine procedures - Responsible for maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting specialized cardiac procedures equipment - Serves as a lead resource for medical and clinical staff as needed - Stays current with advancements in cardiovascular technology through ongoing education and professional development - No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment American Traveler Job ID P-680247.
