Nuclear Medicine Tech Location: Salem, OR Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,858 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of five years of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred. License: Pending Nuclear Medicine license allowed. Certifications: Must be registered in Nuclear Medicine with either the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within six months of hire. Basic Life Support from the AHA within 90 days of hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within six months of hire. Must-Have: Must pass a Basic Cardiac Monitoring class within four months of hire. Must be capable of operating state-of-the-art Nuclear Medicine gamma cameras, probes, computer systems, film processors, survey meters, and other technical devices. Description: Performs Nuclear Medicine Procedures in compliance with hospital policies and procedures. The schedule is four days a week, from 08:15 to 18:45 on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, and from 07:00 to 17:30 on Thursday. On-call duties are required after department closures. On-call days are expected to be about seven per month, but the shifts are not very busy. Candidates with a bachelor's or associate's degree are preferred. Epic Charting experience is required. The individual must be comfortable working with various procedures such as Nuclear Cardiology, HIDA Scan, and PET Scan. Skills in drawing venous blood, starting and maintaining IVs, and handling radioactive materials are essential. Prior charge experience is a plus. Candidates may be submitted to one position within the system, and float options may be necessary.
