Bounds Hay Co. Export Shipping Job Description Position Summary The Export Shipping Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for 15-20 BoundsHay Co. customer accounts. The CSRs main focus is data entry of new orders and updating vessel changes and cancellations, securing new bookings and ensuring our customers will receive their products on time and accurately. Key fundamentals The CSR will also need the ability to forecast in the future and recognize gaps in the schedule and source bookings to fill those areas. The CSR will assist the documentation and sales team in creating export contracts, assigning customers orders Provide daily vessel updates to BHC staff and customers, and assist with shipping documentation. The CSRs position also requires the ability to resolve any emerging issues that a customer might encounter with shipment.This is vital to our organization in maintaining a strong working relationship with our customers and suppliers. We want you to help us do these things: Manage up to 20 core customer accounts Enter new bookings and update vessel changes daily Provide shipping documents promptly and accurately Double check accuracy on contracts, bookings, and export docs Assist in locating available export containers Assist in Scheduling and other duties as required Crosstrain with other departments and positions2. As evidenced by these metrics: Customers are satisfied as evidenced by surveys/reviews 99% accuracy rate on documents Excellent peer reviews Vessel timing changes caught early when available Demonstrated ownership of the role assigned3. And behave this way (live our core values) Have a positive attitude Elicit and participate in team environment Raise the bar Act with integrity Be a good communicator--- Ability to manage projects and complete on time--- Leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity--- Be able to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues Education & Experience: --- At least 5 years of professional office experience--- Proficient knowledge of basic computer operations and software applications; including knowledge & ability to learn shipping software (e.g., hay cloud) Google drive, excel, word products, Quickbooks, printers & other software--- High school diploma or GED Physical Requirements: --- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer--- Be able to travel for work meetings, seminars or other business related items Job Type: Full-time Pay Range: $45,000 - $55,000 per year Advancement: --- As our company grows so will our employees.
