JOB DESCRIPTION

The primary duty is to ensure cleanliness of dishes, service wares & the dish pit. The dishwasher will accomplish this by setting up and breaking down the pit, keeping it orderly throughout the day, and ensure a high standard of dish cleanliness while maintaining the integrity of unusual staging and catering display wares. This position will put away all dishes and display wares correctly and when required cater wrap dishes for long term storage. Candidates must feel comfortable with heavy lifting and working outdoors when necessary.

We are a seasonal business that operates high volume business from June through October. Weekends and undays are required.

Responsibilities:
--- Work with a sense of urgency to compete the daily tasks
--- Arrive at work ready to work by time of shift start
--- Washes all wares including pots, plans, dishware, and glasses. Polish silverware when required
--- Correctly stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils. Cater wrap dishes and glass racks when required
--- Ensures work areas remain safe and clean according to regulation regarding health, safety, and sanitation
--- Performs other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience:
--- Strong organizational skill
--- Time management and communication skills
--- Ability to lift 80 pounds
--- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
--- Food handler's card and proper shoes
--- Reliable transportation
--- ServSafe certification strongly encouraged
