excellence. This role ensures every banquet service runs smoothly,
from prep to presentation, making every guest experience memorable
and every event a success. What you bring to the table Make sure
the space stays safe, clean, and friendly for both guests and the
rest of the team; speak up and report any safety concerns to the
Safety Committee. Lead by example in how our F&B Banquet staff
interact with guests, following the service standards outlined by
the Executive Chef and department handbook. Coordinate delivery,
setup, and execution of food for all buffet and serviced events.
Conduct and monitor job-specific training in line with the New Hire
Training Program. Resolve employee conflicts when the Chef or Sous
Chefs are unavailable, and ensure compliance with gaming and
management practices. Review and uphold departmental policies and
procedures to meet regulatory and management standards. Maintain
appropriate inventory levels for all scheduled events. Cook food
according to recipes, procedures, and Banquet Chef direction.
Monitor production prep, cleaning, and task lists to ensure timely
completion. Assign duties for each shift, checking food quality,
labeling, and dating. Work closely with the Banquet Chef to promote
teamwork between front- and back-of-house personnel. Ensure staff
receive appropriate breaks and meal periods. Step into multiple
roles as needed-leader, cook, dishwasher, and kitchen technician.
Be cross-trained as a main kitchen production cook. Keep open lines
of communication with staff and supervisors. Hold team members
accountable with fairness and professionalism. Perform tasks or
duties delegated by the Executive Chef or Banquet Chef. Train staff
in all areas as needed and model excellent service standards for
both guests and staff Jump in where needed to support the team and
keep things running smoothly. (Other duties as assigned) Physical

You'll stand or walk for most of your shift, lift up to 50 lbs
frequently, and use your hands for handling tools, utensils, and
ingredients. The environment can be hot, fast-paced, and
occasionally exposed to secondhand smoke. You'll often work
evenings, weekends, and holidays. Staying calm under pressure and
maintaining focus in busy periods are essential. This is a quick

At least three years' experience in a commercial kitchen-preferably
in a hotel or casino setting. A high school diploma or GED. A valid
Oregon Food Handler's card (or ability to obtain one). Proven
cooking ability and attention to detail. Confidence giving clear
instructions and training others. Strong organizational and
communication skills. A dependable, self-motivated work ethic and
team-first attitude. Ability to work independently and maintain
composure under pressure. Ability to pass a background check and
adherence to drug-free workplace policy. Bonus points if you bring
creativity, humor, and genuine joy to serving others through food.
Comfortable communicating clearly and positively with both guests
and teammates. Must pass and remain in compliance with Coquille
Gaming Commission background check and drug free workplace
