The HR Generalist role is responsible to provide administrative human resource support to our clients and their employees. This role carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas, including, but not limited to employee relations, learning & development (L&D), performance and career management, new hire onboarding, off-boarding, policy implementation, organizational change and employment law compliance. We are a close-knit HR team that understands how critical it is for our clients to have a strategic HR partner to positively impact client company success and profitability. Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years HR Generalist experience.
- PHR or equivalent certification preferred.
- Must have basic knowledge of local, state, and federal, or regional, employment laws, labor relations and regulations or statutes.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of standard HR processes and systems.
- Proven experience in driving positive employee relations, to include strong problem solving, effective coaching, analysis, and investigative skills.
- Must have good judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Display the ability to communicate and influence others at all levels in the organization.
- Must be self-motivated and able to effectively work independently with minimal supervision with superior time management skills.
- Must be highly approachable with a customer-focused attitude, with experience providing a high level of professionalism needed to build long-term relationships and trust.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills along with the ability to present, train and facilitate.

WHAT YOUR DAY TO DAY MIGHT LOOK LIKE:
As an HR Generalist, your responsibilities include working closely with our clients and their employees while providing administrative human resource support to facilitate their overall success.

Job Duties:
- Utilize a strong understanding of HR employment laws and best practices in OR and surrounding states to provide strategic guidance to our client companies.
- Coordinate administrative HR functions including employee file maintenance, new hire paperwork, leave requests, recruiting, and benefit management.
- Make recommendations and coordinate the distribution of draft policies, employee handbooks, employee onboarding, and performance management programs.
- Implement and maintain core HR and payroll software systems such as ADP, TriNet, Gusto, Ease, etc.
- Utilize excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with client companies.
- Partner with internal and external resources to better understand our client business issues and concerns and recommend and implement appropriate solutions.
- Work cross-functionally with payroll, benefits, and other departments to ensure client needs are met.
