RESPONSIBILITIES:

Overall, the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for developing the HR agenda while aligning business objectives with employees and management. The HRBP serves as a consultant to management on all HR related matters. The HRBP will be an employee champion and an innovative change agent while foretelling and communicating HR-related needs proactively.

--- Employee Relations: Including but not limited to: Documentation investigation, and pro-active approaches to managing future personnel issues.
--- Employment/Compensation: Including but not limited to administrative tasks related to conducting separations, coordinating final pay and benefits as well as ensuring raises and/or other status changes are approved and submitted to payroll for processing.
--- Leave Management: Administering, Documenting and communicating all aspects of Leave including but not limited to FMLA, OFLA, ADA, Workers Comp, and Washington and Oregon Paid Family Leave Programs
--- Compliance: Ensuring all stores are in compliance with legal postings, completing audits, as well as ensuring managers have information necessary to maintain compliance with local and state laws.
--- Workers Compensation: Processing workers compensation, assist in return to work and act as the Safety Officer for the company.
--- Training Programs/Performance Management: Assisting in the development and/or providing training in a variety of formats for management personnel, tracks and documents performance reviews and bench plans for Above Store Leaders.
--- Customer Relations: Responding to customer complaints or other incidents which may include coordinating with insurance company or other vendors as necessary.
--- Responding to unemployment insurance claims in a timely manner.
--- Completing employment verifications as needed.
--- Analyzing data and preparing necessary reports (EEOC, Turnover, ACA, Benefits, etc.)
--- Performs other Duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
--- Must have High School or equivalent level education. Preference will be given to those with Degree in Human Resource Management/Business Management
--- Minimum SHRM-CP or PHR required
--- Minimum of 5 years' experience in roles that would provide the knowledge, skills and experience necessary to perform the duties of this position. Minimum of 3 years of HR management experience
--- Preference may be provided to those with experience supporting multi-state and multi-location businesses.
--- Preference may be given to those who are bilingual and fluent in both written and spoken Spanish and English
--- Experience supporting multiple levels of an organization including senior and executive level management.
--- Must have the technical expertise and organizational skills to perform the duties of the position and learn new software or other systems as necessary to complete duties.
--- Must have the ability to analyze, interpret, manipulate data as it relates to the HR function
--- Must have the ability to interpret employment legal compliance in an efficient and accurate manner and then ensure smooth processes as they relate to compliance.
--- Must have the ability to communicate effectively at the receivers' level as necessary to perform the duties as outlined.
--- Able to work independently and free of direct supervision while making consistently sound decisions.
--- Must have Driver's License, Acceptable Driving Record and ability to travel long distances via vehicle up to 15% of time, some locations may require ability to fly.
