Mulberry Talent Partners has joined with our client, a large regionally based healthcare organization in Eugene, OR to identify an HR Specialist. This is an onsite, full-time, direct hire opportunity. As the HR Specialist, you will report directly to the HR Manager and alongside the HR Generalist. With supervision, the role manages the recruiting process, including but not limited to candidate advertising, sourcing, interviews, candidate selection and offer process. Your Role:

  • Reviews Personnel Requisitions and discusses job requirements with hiring manager.
  • Identifies sources of applicants and follows standard methods to access qualified applicants.
  • Prepares advertisements and other communications to solicit qualified applicants.
  • Screens resumes, and applications to assess applicant qualifications and reviews them with hiring manager. Contacts qualified applicants and conducts screening interviews. Arranges interviews with hiring manager and staff.
  • On average will support around 30-35 open positions between Eugene, Corvallis, Newport, Florence, and Springfield. -This person is the one and only recruiter. -Many of the 30-35 are the same position, just in different locations.
  • Performs reference checks and initiates background investigations, and license verification as necessary.
  • Extends verbal job offer to candidate. Coordinates the offer package preparation; obtains the appropriate approvals. - - - - - - -Provides general administrative support to the Human Resources Team.
    • Upon written acceptance and completed forms, initiates background investigations and license verification as required. Investigates and resolves background/employment related issues. Escalates issues that conflict with hiring practices. -
    • Maintains personnel files in accordance with employee confidentiality, policies and procedures, and all regulatory/accreditation requirements.
    • Run HRIS queries or reports; maintain logs, databases, and various statistics.
    • Assist with new hire and onboarding HR tasks, including but not limited to, pre-hire preparation and orientation.
    • Assist with routine staff communication.
    • Other duties as requested.
      You Bring:
      • BS/BA in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
      • 1-3 years prior recruiting experience preferred.
      • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems preferred; experience with iCIMS strongly preferred.
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, especially Word, Outlook, and Excel.
      • Basic knowledge of recruiting practices including testing, interviewing, reference checks, background checks, and license verification.
      • Basic knowledge of federal and state laws governing equal employment opportunity.
      • Some Human Resources administration experience is a plus.
        Compensation Rate: -$60,000
