Role: Sr. RoR Developer
Location: Remote
Contract Duration: 11 Months
Hourly Pay Rate: $55 W2 / $62 C2C

This Job Is Remote. We need candidates with at least 5 plus years of experience with RUBY on Rails.

Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable Ruby code, Analysis of Application code, Tune code, write Procedures, perform indexing, and other elements
Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization
Maintain responsibility for analysis of Incident Tickets & Resolution, supply to Continual Service Improvement Programs
Onshore and offshore point of contacts to review quality of work you're doing, work papers, audit/ assessment reports
Tackle and resolve production problems with new insights
Regular interaction (in person, email and over phone) with business and technical partners locally and globally for status update, requirement discussions, discussion around solution/approach etc
Identifying, fixing bottlenecks, bugs and Maintaining, fixing web applications
Establish POCs to validate the client solutions
System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains
Evaluate new technology options and vendor products
Establish a dialogue with the client to achieve trusted technical adviser status

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum qualifications
BE/B Tech/M Tech/MCA/BCA
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred qualifications
Hands on experience TypeSCript, React (front end), Node JS(backend) with Ruby
Hands on experience in Ruby on Rails, Ruby, MySQL, PostgreSQL, GIT, R Spec, JQuery, Ajax, CSS, HTML, Jira/TFS, XML, and Agile SCRUM methodologies, UNIX/LINUX environment
Good understanding of the syntax of Ruby and its nuances
Experience on Payment integration
Passion for writing great, simple, clean, efficient code
Good knowledge of relational databases, shown problem management and analytical capabilities
Attention to detail, with the ability to produce clear, concise documentation
Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
