Title: - Frontend Software Engineer
Location: 100% Remote
Type: - Direct hire
Salary: $130,000-$150,000 + equity

Job Description: - Candidate will design and build the user experience (React as front-end framework). - Scala is needed to access the main application, which is written in Scala.

As a Frontend Software Engineer, we are seeking someone who understands the cucial role that a well-designed user interface plays in user success. The ideal candidate has experience building highly scalable, low-latency interfaces in the presence of large amounts of visual data. As a fast-growing team, it is important that you can successfully collaborate with developers, architects, and product managers, ideally in an early-stage company environment.

Requirements:

Strong experience with frontend technologies (React, Bootstrap, JavaScript/TypeScript)
UX design
Scala

Desired Skill:
- Familiarity with Akka or the Actor-model
- Experience using Cassandra (esp. in large clusters)
- Kafka
