We are looking for professional Class A CDL Company Drivers to help us continue our tradition of delivering excellence and top-notch logistics solutions across North America. As a valued team member, you will play a crucial role in our mission to transport goods safely and efficiently, ensuring that the cold chain is maintained flawlessly. Safely operate a tractor-trailer truck to transport refrigerated goods across assigned routes, adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance before, during, and after trips. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, complying strictly with C.R. England's policies and guidelines, as well as customer requirements. Document and log work/rest periods, miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts; comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Report defects, accidents or violations immediately and handle paperwork, such as invoices and delivery notes. Interact with dispatch and logistics staff to communicate delays or concerns on the road, maintaining open lines of communication. Strong adaptability to handling unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.) Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage delivery schedules and routes efficiently. Proficiency in using GPS and other routing systems. Physical ability and stamina to handle the demands of long hours of driving and manual handling of freight as needed.
