Serves as the principal contract officer liaison between Agency
and insurance carriers for Property and Casualty markets,
contracts, and compliance; leads licensing effort for Commercial
Lines profit centers by performing the following duties personally
or through subordinate supervisors.
Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Arbitrates complaints occurring in the performance of carriers.
(Producer/Carrier dispute resolution)
Works with company officials to plan and develop methods and
procedures to increase sales, lower costs, and obtain greater
Works closely with marketing managers in each office to develop
new and renewal marketing capabilities; facilitates monthly
marketing manager meetings.
Directs, interprets, negotiates, implements, enforces and signs
Agency Property and Casualty contracts with insurance carriers.
Approves or rejects requests for new contracts.
Monitors and evaluates contract performance to determine
necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts. Monitors
compliance with contractual obligations.
Initiates, organizes, distributes and manages data relating to
Analyzes insurance company reports and information to distribute
to Managing Directors.
Ensures compliance with licensing requirements for Agency
Commercial Lines employees.
Prepares and submits production reports to management. Reviews
production reports to ensure that personnel have achieved sales
quotas, processed claims promptly, or credited collections to
Participates in company initiative groups.
Follows company policies and procedures with respect to all
essential duties and responsibilities of the job.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications, Education and/or
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to
perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid insurance license.
