JOB TITLE: Lead II-Merchandising FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt, hourlySHIFT SCHEDULE: Full-TimeDEPT/LOCATION: TBDREPORTS TO: Site ManagerThe Lead II is mainly responsible for inventory, build to order, CAO ordering and setting schematics. The primary goal of this position is to support the Store Management with merchandising and inventory management, with emphasis on minimizing inventory out of stock items. The critical role of a Lead II is to ensure that the store's merchandise, presentation, and inventory management achieve company standards. This role serves as a member of the store's leadership team and is responsible for the store's overall merchandise management and presentation. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFriendly and efficient customer serviceDuties of a Porter's Certified CashierOrdering using CAO - walking order for store managerInventory for all departmentsTagging store and assuring no missing tagsProper placement of Displays to include recovering displays when neededUnderstanding schematics and how to set themReview inventory procedures (daily & weekly)Vendor ordering Cleaning and rotating merchandise (check expiration dates and face of products)Vendor relationship management (shadows the Store Manager)Stock merchandiseBuild DisplaysOversee and process price changesAdministrative knowledge and use of merchandising websiteLead all reset activitiesCommunicate out of stocks with the manager (daily) and follow up to ensure resolveVerify vendor invoices on invoice log confirming that they are logged correctlyAssists with maintaining the store's image inside and outEnforce and abide by all corporate policies and proceduresLead promotion implementation (pulling tags, signs, etc) & in-store promotion launches.
