Your primary focus would be Salesforce Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and you would be leading Trailhead Technical Operations for acquisitions initiatives and helping integrate new acquisitions into Trailhead business systems. The role demands a strong techno-functional leader with M&A and technology operations background leading global cross-functional initiatives for success.You will be a strategic leader and execution champion and responsible for leading and driving technology infrastructure integration for acquisitions and mergers and also help with various technical operations initiatives across Trailhead. This includes partnering with corporate M&A team, IT organization, business and technical teams from acquired companies and teams across trailhead (including product team, support operations, credentialing operations, community, trailhead academy) and external vendors.The candidate will develop and implement defined, repeatable processes and playbooks to drive the M&A planning and execution phases. This role will translate strategic Salesforce and Trailhead goals into structured and effective action plans across the teams with a focus on delivering value to the business through integration readiness assessments, due diligence, effective integration strategies, post-close integration management and continual refinement of Technical Operations M&A integration competencies. The candidate will develop M&A integration methodologies for the Technical Operations organization and lead the development of structured integration frameworks and playbooks to ensure consistency and repeatability of the process based on standards, procedures, and best practices across the organization. They will lead planning and execution of M&A integrations representing Technical Operations including integrating people, process and technology to drive attainment of integration objectives.You will also partner with business teams across Trailhead to understand the current and future business capability needs and help build and scale technology and operations to meet business long and short term objectives. You will work with head of trailhead technical operations to help manage the execution and adoption of the recommended technology roadmap. Candidate also needs to have experience with Agile development and delivery methodologies with abilities to navigate in rapidly shifting cross functional environment while being laser focused on accomplishing meaningful results. We are looking for innovative and enthusiastic leader who strive for continuous improvement by contributing to the development of standards, processes, and automation requirements that lead to operational excellence.ResponsibilitiesIntegration of M&A: Partner with Trailhead business teams and Corporate M&A and IT organization to lead Trailhead Technical Operations due diligence tegration of M&A: Effectively communicate with and influence key operational stakeholders while aligning the team around goals. Communicate with executive leadership to align on business process changes and drive prioritization of tegration of M&A: Implement program and project methodologies and track progress in accordance with Trailhead business expectations and priorities in alignment with overall tegration of M&A: Funding and budget management, reporting and tegration of M&A: Partner with Technical Operations Engineering team on the merger/acquisition integration plan and complete execution and tegration of M&A: Act as an escalation point for critical project risks, constraints and issues; coordinate Project Managers and optimize project management tegration of M&A: Successfully integrate/migrate acquired companies business processes, data and systems to Trailhead business tegration of M&A: Candidate to leverage their super interpersonal skills, exceptional program & project management know-how, and experience with Mergers and Acquisitions, and integration to come up with the plan and direct the execution of plan.Technology Operations and Business Roadmap: Understand our organization vision and strategic growth direction and rationalize existing tools and technologies against needed business capabilities (areas of systems/tools, data and processes/governance) to scale Trailhead business and meet internal and external stakeholder needs.Technology Operations and Business Roadmap: Lead business initiatives with key stakeholders to help make key decisions, remove obstacles, and address business needs. Be the key driver to ensure business goals are met and support the strategic vision of each program.Technology Operations and Business Roadmap: Ownership of one or more business domains/functions for technical infrastructure transformation.Technology Operations and Business Roadmap: Be a strategic thought leader and partner within the organization, someone who can help advance our Technology infrastructure strategy globally and challenge others in the organization to change.Technology Operations and Business Roadmap: Apply techno-functional expertise and salesforce platform knowledge to design solutions meeting business needs. This includes understanding business needs, architecting a solution and working with delivery teams to prototype and implement tools and processes.Technology Operations and Business Roadmap: Partner with internal (Trailhead product, Engineering, IT, Product Security) and external technology partners (vendors and dev teams) to build and maintain infrastructure.Technology Operations and Business Roadmap: Focus on both short term wins/opportunities and longer term initiatives for improving experience, productivity and process efficiencies.Technology Operations and Business Roadmap: Manage (Prioritization, development, testing and deployment) enhancements and KLO releases with delivery and business teams. This includes Program Management, Change Management and User Adoption for initiatives as needed to move the needle.Develop strong partnerships with functional leaders to drive focus on business objectives. Be a trusted partner for executive management to ensure program success.Be proactive, creative, entrepreneurial, have a healthy appetite for feedback, and thrive in high-pressure situations.Required Skills and Experience15+ years' of experience as a technology leader and business partner in hi-tech enterprises.5+ years of demonstrated success in leading multiple M&A integrations in large, complex multi-national organizations.
