Nestled in the Client Services team at Indiegogo, the Campaign Strategist's primary focus is to guide clients from around the world to successfully launch on Indiegogo. You will use data-driven insights to advise clients on effective marketing strategies for their go-to-market plan. In this role, you will be exposed to the whole campaign lifecycle from product prototype to successful market launch. Through strategic leadership and training, you will work to help clients position their products, build multi-channel marketing strategies, optimize paid advertising campaigns, conduct effective lead generation campaigns, design converting campaign pages, write powerful copy, manage successful campaigns, and champion clients through their crowdfunding experience. Throughout the product launch journey, you will work alongside the client to educate them on the launch process, be Indiegogo's advocate, and drive product launch success on the platform.

The ideal candidate is experienced in account management, problem-solving, and digital marketing. This person should have prior exposure to the consumer hardware product landscape in order to identify problems and provide solutions for our clients.

  • Support our diverse community of crowdfunding campaigners launching products on Indiegogo by providing marketing and platform usage consultation, while delighting them with world-class client support to their inquiries via email, phone, and other channels.
  • Serve as the account manager and help clients meet and exceed their funding goals by providing data-driven optimizations and Indiegogo exclusive insights.
  • Increase clients' platform satisfaction and nurture long-term relationships through timely responses and impactful suggestions.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and answer support questions from clients to maximize their fundraising potential on the platform.
  • Spearhead educational content creation for the entrepreneurial and crowdfunding community at large.
  • Serve as crowdfunding thought-leaders for the internal team, championing new strategies and tactics to elevate client success on the platform.
  • Manage client activity effectively and accurately within the CRM system to maximize all existing and new opportunities' potential.
  • Liaise with internal teams, including sales, communications, marketing, engineering teams, and partners to collaborate on cross-functional projects to make Indiegogo the ultimate go-to crowdfunding platform.


  • Comfortable with the process of using data to inform marketing decisions
  • Thorough understanding of digital marketing elements, tactics and analytical tools
  • Proven experience as a Product Marketing Manager or similar role
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment 2+ years of client-facing experience in account management or digital marketing
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to attend to cultural differences in client communications
  • A proactive teammate who is willing to initiate new projects and make them their own
  • Technical orientation and the ability to quickly learn and utilize new technology
  • Experience and demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask in a deadline-driven, high-pressure environment
