We are looking for a product and customer champion to shape the product roadmap and vision of our digital platforms. We are looking for a passionate UX professional who truly embraces the ownership mindset and who obsesses over how to make the world a better place through world positive, friendly financing and investing.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Strategy - Set and lead ambitious and clear design vision for their product area by working closely with senior leaders and alongside product and engineering counterparts. Shape the team's roadmap and goals by providing input from a user's perspective, and ensure they're pursuing achievable, measurable and impactful goals. Articulate product goals and speak confidently about how your design work relates to the broader product vision and company objectives.

  • Interaction/Visual Design - Create innovative solutions for a wide variety of product design challenges, including mobile and responsive web. Lead the design of new features and improve the existing experience. Work alongside engineers and product managers throughout all stages of the development cycle, deliver work that is user-friendly, aesthetically engaging, and produces results.
  • Leadership - Advocate for design solutions, highlighting inputs that influenced the design including executive input, user goals, user data, and research findings.

  • Communication and Reporting - Regularly provide updates to senior leaders, stakeholders, partners, squad members, etc. Effectively tailor communications to the appropriate audience to ensure broad alignment, awareness, and advocacy of the product. Communicates complex ideas, goals and problems in a way that is accessible even to those unfamiliar with the project.

  • Partnership - Support client-facing employees in delivering for our clients (specifically web and mobile strategies) by integrating the end-to-end client experience.

Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Strong foundational knowledge and application of UX principles and design process
  • Demonstrates and articulates a strong understanding of information architecture, multi-step and cross-platform flows, consistently considering the holistic user experience including potential states and use cases such as errors, successes, dead-ends.
  • Balances existing visual and UX patterns with platform-specific patterns to ensure a consistent, intuitive experience.
  • Demonstrates understanding of layout, typography and visual hierarchy.
  • Familiarity working within design systems
  • Self-starter with outstanding organizational skills
  • Must have portfolio that demonstrates knowledge of design process
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills in order to communicate design rationale and tell a compelling story
  • Familiar with conducting and synthesizing qualitative user research and different data collection techniques
  • Familiar with Agile development methodology
  • Knowledge of design tools such as Sketch, InVision or other similar tools
  • Thrives in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team environment
  • A passion for innovation and creative solutions while balancing them with brand standards and business requirements
  • Self-starter with outstanding organizational skills
  • Establish key metrics and monitor designs post-launch to determine whether feature is successful
  • Effective in partnering cross-functionally, cross-enterprise and work effectively with various levels of the organization as well as various personality types
