We are looking for an accomplished Business Development Director, Accessories to join our growing sales team in the US. The ideal candidate has experience in working with all sales channels, both direct and indirect, to build a strategy to accelerate growth of Fender's accessory business. This role will work cross functionally with Fender's Product Management, Marketing and Sales teams to build and execute a strategy to support Fender's growth initiatives and objectives.

About the Job:

  • Oversee vision, strategy, and performance of Accessory product line across multiple retail channels.
  • Work closely with Sales VP and Regional Sales team to develop revenue growth plans, strategies for product placement/offerings and to enhance the customer buying experience of Fender accessories.
  • Expand the Fender accessory brand by supporting a growing online customer base delivering a great strategic partnership with online retailers.
  • Develop strategies for the acceleration of assortment growth; create and execute appropriate tactics to meet objectives
  • Work with Regional leaders to develop a cross-sell and up-sell strategy to generate additional sales for all sales channels.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Marketing, and Product teams to achieve business goals, objectives and to identify new opportunities.
  • Responsible for data and reporting and analysis from SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, and Tableau
  • Responsible for data-driven decisions that inform investment decisions to ensure enduring growth outpacing industry rates.

What you need:

  • 5+ years sales experience selling in the digital space
  • Prior National Account/Mass Merchant account management experience
  • Demonstrated experience driving increased market share in the online marketplace
  • Proven track record of building successful web/brand pages with eCommerce channels in an effort to guide customers through a curated category of products
  • Demonstrated ability to forge multiple points of contact within a retail partners organization
  • Demonstrated success moving the needle on year over year sales
  • Strong project management skills and techniques
  • Experience managing projects across multiple business units to achieve growth goals
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing work conditions, often with little to no lead time
  • Evidence of achievements in project management, the formulation & evaluation of program and policies
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Experience in the Music Industry is helpful, though not required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Administration or the equivalent level of experience a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft platform applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with SAP, Microsoft Dynamic and/or Tableau a plus
