Job Description:

We are looking for an established high performing Sales Leader, ideally based on the East Coast to drive our New Business growth targets with our energetic team. This innovative and competitive role is responsible for maximizing our sales potential, crafting sales plans and managing a new business sales team of 5-8 to execute those plans. The ideal candidate will have a track record of managing high performing sales teams that source and generate qualified new business while building long term customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Active sourcing, hiring and ramping of high performing sellers to always be growing a driven and successful team
  • Leading a sales team to achieve new business growth bookings targets for our target market in retail via strong sales execution and navigation of complex sales
  • Develop, coach and motivate team members to reach high professional standards and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs
  • Lead a top performing sales team by setting strategic sales leadership cadence, and driving training, objective setting, coaching and performance management of sales reps
  • In collaboration with other stakeholders, design and implement a strategic sales plans that increase growth
  • Build and promote strong, long lasting customer relationships through understanding their needs and partnering with them to sell and implement the Bluecore solution
  • Driving accurate and disciplined sales hygiene including holding the sales team accountable to an accurate and reliable monthly and quarterly bookings forecast
  • Ensuring market awareness of industry and competitors to position Bluecore as the leading retail marketing platform in the industry
  • Accurate forecasting through the use of MEDDICC qualification methodology and consistent delivery on sales targets

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 7-10 years sales experience in software sales with at least 4 plus years managing a high performing sales team that had a track record of exceeding sales targets
  • MEDDICC qualification methodology required
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of customer stakeholders as well as internally
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close, and effectively coach sales teams through that process
  • Exceptional proficiency at recruiting, development/coaching, sales execution, forecasting and closing deals within complex software solutions
  • Strong business acumen and industry expertise
  • Track record of success in recruiting and developing top sales talent
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills that inspire top performance
  • Our office is currently fully remote with the potential of remaining remote or returning to our NYC HQ if and when appropriate
  • This role may require travel in the future to customers and our offices once travel resumes
